Wufei x Duo Recs

Excerpt:

"I'm here to talk business," Wufei said, spine straightening further with tension. "Not be entertained."

"Business and pleasure go better together," Liu, some barely middle-management go-between, assured him.

"I believe the saying is that you shouldn't mix business with pleasure," Wufei corrected haughtily.

Liu flashed him a grin that was all teeth and nothing nice, eyes lidded as if sleepy or drugged. "But then we wouldn't have this lovely place to entertain us." He swept a hand out, indicating the establishment as a whole. Wufei would dearly like to report the place to the authorities, but he knew that, in this part of New Shanghai, they'd do nothing, and it would ultimately cost Wufei valuable connections and resources.

  Wufei has avoided it for as long as he can, but he needs to negotiate with the Triad if he wants the L6 construction to continue without problems. Out of touch with the rest of the pilots for years, the last thing he expects is for Duo Maxwell to be brought in as a gift. And the last thing he wants is to accept that gift in full view of the Triad representative he's dealing with.
  
  My notes: CW: Human trafficking, non-consensual sex. This fic was written for the 2021 Non-con-a-thon. Duo's in over his head after a deep undercover assignment goes wrong, and Wufei's now the only one who knows what's happened to him. I'd love to see the author expand this universe, because it has a lot of potential.
